Rob maintains a studio practice in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada and Sagara, Shizuoka, Japan. Along with 12 years living in Japan, his art studies include a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Ceramics from the University of Regina, a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Saskatchewan, travel in Europe, Israel, Turkey, Southeast Asia and Mexico, and an artistic education provided by his father, Gus Froese, landscape painter and muralist.
